Hi there! Thank you for stopping by JustWhatWeEat.com! My name is Morgan and I’m so happy you are here!
I’m a wife to the most supportive man I’ve ever met and the mother of a beautiful little girl and handsome little boy. I discovered all of my food allergies after I had my daughter in 2014 and knew that I had to change my lifestyle if I wanted to be the best version of myself that I could be for my family.
It’s been a long journey but I’m healthier than I’ve ever been, I’ve lost 150 pounds since my daughter was born, and mentally and emotionally I’m so much stronger than I ever thought possible.
One of my biggest goals for my family is for us to feel like we can still have our favorite foods we had before just with different ingredients.
At this point, I have learned so much that I really feel that is possible. I no longer see my food allergies as a burden. They were an opportunity to better myself in so many different ways!
When I’m not cooking up tasty treats in the kitchen, I’m usually spending time with family. They are my world! I also enjoy photography, graphic design, and work as a software engineer part time. Life is sweet!
ABOUT JUST WHAT WE EAT
I started Just What We Eat in 2016 as a way to share my new recipes with family and to hopefully help others going through a similar journey.
If you have food allergies, are trying to live a healthier lifestyle, or just need some more delicious recipe ideas to add to your collection then you are in the right place! At Just What We Eat I share allergy friendly recipes the whole family will enjoy.
Often times people struggle with the transition to eating allergy friendly food or moving to a healthier lifestyle. I know it was something I personally struggled with most of my life.
This is why finding ways to make traditional recipes meet my allergy needs and make them healthier is a huge passion of mine.
I’m extremely dedicated to sharing recipes that are not only delicious, but recipes that I feed my family all the time (hence the name, Just What We Eat ☺).
If my family doesn’t like it and eat it on a regular basis, then you won’t find it here. Which means all of the recipes I share have been tested thoroughly! I hope my recipes will become favorites for your family as well.
