This Homemade Italian Seasoning is so easy to make and tastes amazing on SO many different things! It’s also naturally gluten free and vegan!
Italian seasoning is something I didn’t know existed until about two years ago.
I know, that probably sounds crazy but I really didn’t cook things from scratch until after my daughter was born and I developed food allergies.
Everything I bought from the store came in a can, packet, or was frozen (that makes me sick to think about now!).
The first time that I came across a recipe that called for Italian Seasoning I knew I wanted to try to make it from scratch.
I had already tackled taco seasoning, chili powder, and ranch mix so I knew I could handle Italian seasoning.
Lucky for me, there were already a lot of Italian seasoning mixes out there. So I picked the easiest one and voila, delicious Italian seasoning.
We use this Italian seasoning in a lot of different recipes and it adds so much flavor.
Slow Cooker white bean soup, chicken noodle soup, meatless meatballs, and stuffing, just to name a few. I hope you can find as many uses for it as we have!

- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- Mix all ingredients together and store in an air tight container.
